The deposit, half the fee paid ahead
The deposit is half the fee for the booking, paid before she sets out, and it secures most bookings, a first booking with the house included, at any length.
A deposit is the first half of the price, paid before the therapist leaves for your address. It is not a separate charge and it is not held aside to be handed back later; it forms part of the fee, and the other half is paid at the door.
When it applies
Half is paid in advance on seven kinds of booking: a first booking with the house; anything booked over twenty-four hours before it begins; an overnight; a booking with two therapists; a session of three hours or more; a peak date; and a room at Schiphol or an airport hotel. Only one kind of booking carries none: a returning guest asking for an hour or two later the same day at an address inside the city, which is paid in full on arrival.
How it is paid
By card first, or by Revolut, Wise or cryptocurrency. PayPal and bank transfers play no part, and cash is no use for a deposit, since notes only change hands once she is standing in your room. The exact amount and where it goes are given in the booking thread once the hour is agreed, and nowhere else.
An example
