Grace

Grace knows Oud-Zuid from the park paths she runs on most mornings, and she recognises the visitors staying there by the museum tickets left on the desk. Her favourite booking is ninety minutes of tantra, paced for a guest whose back has spent the day upright in front of paintings. Polish and English are the two languages she carries into a room. At twenty-four she is calm, observant and happy to leave the talking to the guest, and she names her limits in the first minutes rather than halfway through.

Grace decides which bookings she takes and may decline any of them; she sets the limits for what a session includes, says what they are, and may end a visit at any point, as the terms set out.
